Diabetes Symptoms

"Diabetes is like being expected to play the piano with one hand while juggling items with another hand, all while balancing with deftness and dexterity on a tightrope"
- Marlene Less

The difficulty in laying out a set of symptoms for diabetes is that often these symptoms don't seem like symptoms at all, but rather common day-to-day annoyances and issues. Regardless, it has been determined that these items can be used to accurately diagnose diabetes early enough to help the individual towards a plan of action, greatly reducing the risk of more serious diabetes-related health complications down the road.

If you experience any of these symptoms regularly, and are concerned that you may be developing diabetes, contact your physician immediately for further consultation. The American Diabetes Association also offers a great online risk test to help you evaluate your risk for developing diabetes.
